About Tessa Raven Art
Tessa Raven Hancock is a young visual artist from Oklahoma City.
In her current work she explores humanity and universal emotions through mixed media on wood textures. She portrays odd and sometimes contorted, or colorful figures to express little pieces of humanity. Her goal is to create a magical place between the viewer and the work, a place which is both introspective and enjoyable, indefinable and relatable.
Her goal most of all is to just create. If through healing herself she is to serve another soul, all the more wonderful.
" We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled.
The trick is, knowing how to tip ourselves over
and let the beautiful stuff out.”
-Ray Bradbury
